When you use Elementor free, you can still create your footer and header with your theme setting.
As a rule, Elementor is compatible with all WP themes which are adhered to WordPress coding standards.
*Notice that the editing of your theme footer/header is not controlled by Elementor, but rather by your theme’s settings.
