I learn more about WordPress every day that I work with it. I’m not sure at this point in my knowledge about the best way to do this that or the other, so bear with me if this is a rudimentary (read: silly, lol) question.

What would be the best way to go about displaying a link to a single category of posts on the sidebar? In other words, let’s say on a certain site we have post categories for health tips, money-saving tips, and safety tips. If I wanted to put links on the left sidebar that would look like this, what would be the best way to do it?

    Health Tips
    * Just for the Health of It

    Money Tips
    * Being Smart with Your Money

    Safety Tips
    * Protecting Your Home & Family

I know how to use the Categories widget in the sidebar, but that is not the look that the owners of the site want. They also don’t want to do any of those things as pages instead of posts because they don’t want links at the top of the page, just on the sidebar.
