Support » Fixing WordPress » How to add a image with link to sidebar

  • Hi,

First off i’m sorry if this has been asked a thousand times – I am in China so the forums often don’t load.

I am just finishing a site for a charity and I want to design a logo that says donate and have it in the sidebar. I have it in a text widget but with no link.

How can I add a link with my own image/logo to the sidebar??

    Thanks in advance,
    Natalie

  • Hi, using wordpress simple image widget…

Thanks so much for this – the reviews look perfect and one of the screenshots has an add link button so, yes, it seems as if it would work….

However, I don’t know if I am being utterly stupid or it hasn’t installed properly but there doesn’t seem to be any option to use it anywhere? How do you access the plugin when it is installed?

The plugin site does not give instructions which makes me think it should be simple…

    Sorry for the dumb questions..

haven’t used it, but looks like

Dashboard>appearance>widgets and it should be listed on the left hand side – they are listed in alphabetical order so under S or I depending on whether its called “simple image” or “image”, and then drag it to the right hand side sidebar that you want it to appear on
