How to add a forums to your site?

I want to add a fully functional forums onto my wordpress.org site so that the link to it is mysite.com/forums
What are all the possible ways of doing this? (plug-ins,phbbb, .etc) And how?

P.S. (Id rather have an advanced one rather than a really basic forum)

Yes, but only a few came up and most said that they are extremely basic forums with only basic features.

I thought there were other ways like bbPress, phbbb..?

I don’t know. I think you’d have to ask on THOSE programs’ forums? How complex does a forum need to be? Have you TRIED any of them? Perhaps they do have what you need included in them.
