How to add a custom navigation bar in my wordpress theme

    I know how to make a horizontal navigation bar, infact i have made one.Now what i want to do is i want to add the navigation bar that i have created to my wordpress theme as my theme doesn’t support navigation bar.
    I want to add the navigation bar below the header and above the blog posts how can i do that can anyone help me out.
