    Hi, can you help me
    How to add parent category in product seo description
    I tried to add {{category}} but the display is not the parent category
    take a look at this screenshot

    parent category “fonts” subcategory “handwritten fonts”

    I see here there is no pattern for the parent category
    the squirrly seo patterns list

    what custom code do I need to add in the function etc.

    Hi @arwah12,

    We tested the {{category}} pattern on our test websites and it shows the product category. In case you have multiple categories selected, it will show the first one.

    If you have a Woocommerce category plugin installed, you can set custom categories to it and Squirrly will show the custom one.

    To make sure another plugin is not affecting the Squirrly pattern, try only Squirrly SEO with Woocommerce plugin and temporarily deactivate the other plugins.
