Currently, we do have option to include the reviews in specific post types (like posts, pages, products, etc..)
Regarding the option to include it for specific posts or categories, we have already planned this feature and have it in our backlog.

And one more question. Do you want only the Author Review for specific posts? Or do you want both the Author Review and User Review in specific posts?

The only feature that I request is a system to be able to show the review by users only in some publications, not all.
It can be by means of a shortcode or as you consider more appropriate, but that allows hiding / showing the form to leave reviews in certain publications.
