    I wish wordpress don't show the content of my posts in the homepage. There is a function on the reading options to only shows summary of posts, but twenty fourteen is still showing all the text in the homepage, exactly like a blog theme.

    Someone there knows the solution?

    Thank you four your answer Pete,

    I will certainly try this solution, but I realized that I don't have any field dedicated to excerpts at the end of my post's editor. I suppose that I need to activate this option. But, how ?

    Please, forget the last question, I discovered the way to show excerpt's field in the top of the screen, in the screen options... I will come back after trying the solution referenced by Pete....

    Ok, I tried the solution referenced by Pete and it works...

    In abstract :
    I copied the content.php in my child-theme and modified the line 47
    The original line is : <?php if ( is_search() : ?>
    The modified line is : <?php if ( is_search() || is_home() || is_archive() ) : ?>

    That's all !
