How to activate plugin for all sites in network (4 posts)

I installed all in one seo pack at the network admin level and did an activate network plugin and then an update network.

I went into one of my sites and the plugin shows up but it looks like I have to activate it (again). If I simply click on the Options configuration panel, I get "You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page"

Do I need to activate your plugin on every site one-by-one?

How do I resolve the permissions issue?

    Thank you

If you've Network Activated the plugin, it should show up across all your sites, and you shouldn't need to activate it again. If you're the superadmin, you should have full access. One thing to check is if the plugin was installed correctly - make sure the directory for the plugin is all-in-one-seo-pack as that is what's expected. Past that, you may be running into a conflict with another plugin or with your theme; if you have a dev site, try testing there, or try disabling any other plugins that you think could be conflicting.

    I found this worked:

    - Go to Network Admin > Plugins
    - Click "Network Deactivate" under the plugin

    - Go to the {site}> Plugins
    - Click "Activate" under the plugin.

Peter Baylies, this is on a "Multisite" set-up. Something is going awry with your permissions.

    Hi jen,

Did you run into a permissions bug as well? I have the plugin network activated on one of my sites and it works fine for me, so I think something else is at work here.
