  • I want to make my page not indexed by search engines. I have learned from ClickBank: Inserting the following HTML code in the <HEAD> element of your Thank You Page should prevent a search engine robot from indexing that page or following links on that page:
    META name=”robots” content=”noindex, nofollow”

    Please give me instructions on how to get WordPress to give me access to that source code area to insert this.

  • firstly, don’t use capitals for your tags: WordPress uses xhtml which is all lowercase.

    So the tag should be <meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow" />

    Place it in the <head> section located in the header.php file of whatever theme you are using.

    So if you where using the default theme you would look in:
