    Hi,

    The plugin has no configuration options so that is expected behaviour.

    The plugin will only have an affect when someone visits your site using an ugly link (example.com/?p=122) or a wp.me short URL. WordPress redirects these links to the pretty version (example.com/my-post).

    Rapid Canonical URLs changes the way this redirect is done & removes an extra hit on your server. Removing this extra hit also speeds up the loading time for your visitors, on my site it’s by around half a second.

    It works by adding a small snippet of JavaScript to your site’s header when a redirect is needed. It’s a very subtle effect in an uncommon circumstance.
