How the hell do I edit my home page!

    Really getting annoyed with this now! I’m a wordpress newbie. I’m looking to create a website with a theme I bought from fitpro.

    All i want to do is make the home page static and be able to edit it.

    No post dates or who it was by.

    I just want to build something like this:
    http://template1.fitprosites.com/

    Any help is much appreciated as I am quickly losing hair.
