HOW>>? Migrate away from WP-stats?

    Anyone know how I can migrate away from WP-stats, into another compatible plugin BESIDES JETPACK>? If it cannot be done I will start over with another fresh plugin, any suggestions?

    My best recommendation would be to use Piwik, a really nice open source web analytics tool.

    No, it’s not a WP plugin. It’s a self-hosted PHP/Mysql service. It has a clean interface, many options, compares positively with Google Analytics, and allows you to respect your visitors’ privacy (you can anonymize their IP adresses and take in account “DoNotTrack” browser settings).

    There is a WP plugin that can display Piwik data in the WP dashboard:

    I don’t use this plugin, so I cannot comment on it (I prefer to simply go into the Piwik dashboard when I want to check the stats).
