How Many Days Does Auto-Login Take?

    Hi. I think “Remember Me” is enabled when we log in with your buttons. The user does not need to login every time. Because automatic login.

    Can you give information about the duration of this? How many days is the “Remember Me” status? Thanks..

    Hi @robosayar

    Nextend Social Login don’t have a “Remember Me” option. The option you probably meant is a part of the traditional username / password login forms so they have no relationship to social login and its state can not affect on logins happened with social login.

    But if a user registers with Nextend Social Login we tell to WordPress to authenticate the users indeed as if the “Remember Me” option would be enabled.
    So basically we use the wp_set_auth_cookie() – https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/wp_set_auth_cookie/ – method of WordPress with “true” value for the “remember” parameter, that will set a WordPress authentication cookie in the browser that expires after 14 days.
