    Hi,

If i create a women’s t-shirt product and my categories look as below

    clothes
    -womens
    –t-shirts

Should the product belong to ‘t-shirts’ only or all 3 categories should be ticked.

Please see this image as an example of pink and yellow of what i’m asking

    Hi there,

    > Should the product belong to ‘t-shirts’ only or all 3 categories should be ticked.

From a technical standpoint it does not matter. Neither is better or worse.
Do you have any other implications, for example a category filter or category navigation?

    Kind regards,

    Hi Con,

Thanks for your reply, you can check the website as it is currently at http://www.printdub.com

Yes, i use both category filers and navigation.

Seems however you’ve answered my question and it doesn’t matter. So i have decided to tick all 3 categories as shown on YELLOW T-SHIRT in this image http://dice.cards/categories.jpg

I think ad long as i tick PRIMARY for the main category it shouldn’t mess up y SEO

    Thank you
