How long product stays in the cart

    Does this plugin affect how long the product actually stays in the cart? I see the “Cart abandoned cut-off time” setting, but its that for setting how long until an email is sent to the customer asking whether they’ll recover their cart?

    If this doesn’t affect how long it stays in the cart, would you know how long woocommerce keeps a product in a customer’s cart so they can return to the site after closing it and still have the products in their cart from their previous visit, without needing to recover it?

    Hi,

    The product will be there in the cart on the user’s site as long as it is not been deleted by the user.

    The setting ‘Cart Abandoned cut-off time’ considers cart as abandoned after X minutes of item being added to cart and order not placed.

    Our plugin does not interfere with the process of adding/deleting the products from the cart.

    Thanks for the response.

    So if I understand correctly, even weeks later, if the user returns they should see the same items in their cart as last time they visited, as long as they didn’t delete those items from the cart, delete their cookies, or the site hasn’t cleared it’s own cache.

    Correct?

    Hi,

    Yes, even after weeks later the product will be there in the cart on the user’s site.

    Please note that our plugin does not clear the cart.

    What if the customer logs out? Will they lose their cart?
    What if the customer never logged in? How long will their cart contents stay in?

    Hi,

    The product present in cart will not be lost when the customer logs out. The customer will be able to see the product in cart when he logs in again.

    In Abandoned cart lite plugin, the guest user carts are not tracked.
