How long does it take WordPress to review new plugins?

    I submitted a new plugin for review on the 9th and its now the 19th. Just says pending review still.

    Any idea on how long it takes? Do they notify you if they reject?

    I once submitted a plugin and received a response within a week, as I recall, but I believe everyone there is a volunteer and I can imagine the workload can vary from one day, week or month to the next. Here is an e-mail address where you might send a query: plugins@wordpress.org.

    Oh okay I ran into like a 140 day wait last time I did a Joomla plugin so
    I understand that community reviews can take quite some time. I will email them and inquire.
