We list all of our shows on gigpress and for a time listed the time as “–:–” so that no time appeared both on our sites and the Google event listings.

In the time since we have erroneously created events with the time as 12:00 am. This does not appear as such on our site but unfortunately appears this was on Google event listings.

Last week we fixed all events back to “–:–” however they have yet to adjust back to listing no time. How long will it take to adjust back/will it adjust back at all? And if not what can I do to fix the issue?

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Many thanks!!

If I’m understanding you correctly and your question is basically how often does Google re-scan your site and update things on their side, I’m afraid we can’t answer that.

It might be that with an appropriately configured SEO plugin you can encourage faster updates on their end but, ultimately, this is something that Google are in control of.

Right thanks- and there is no way of somehow prompting an update from our end I guess?

Perhaps via their webmaster tools, if you’re hooked into those? Otherwise I think it would be a matter of using whatever the best current SEO strategies happen to be to encourage more frequent scans and updates.
