Hi! Searched and couldn’t find this anywhere here… If I want the Genesis eNews Extended signup widget (on a Genesis theme) to disappear for viewers AFTER they’ve used it and signed up (and hopefully replaced with something else), how is that done? In other words, signed-up people would not see the “Sign Up” form because, you know, they’ve already signed up. 🙂 Thanks!

UPDATE: WP seems to have a “You are following xxxx” function that replaces the “sign up”. Any way to implement that with this plugin?

WordPress itself doesn’t provide that. That’s mainly on WordPress.com sites.

This widget itself is just a wrapper for a form that is submitted to whatever provider you’d like. There isn’t information stored on your site at any point in the process (nor cookies set or anything like that). While there may be a way to engineer it adding on some javascript to the click event that would sometimes work, there isn’t anything set in the widget to allow that.

Aha! Thanks for this reply; really appreciate it. What I’ll probably do then is minimize it with design. I’m also planning to add an image for incentive and have to work that out so it hangs together and stays responsive.
