  • Hi,

There are many forum plugins out there, but I must say that the wordpress.org forum (ie. this one) looks so simple and nice – exactly what I would want on my site. So I wonder, how is the wordpress.org forum built?

It’s a heavily customised version of bbPress.

Ok. Heavily customized as in “publicly unavailable”? Are there no theme files etc. available?

There are no theme files available at this time.

Also it’s using an older version of WP. bbPress 2.0 is a plugin for WordPress instead of a standalone app.
