How is possible for a user to make registration when this functionality is inact

    Hello.

    I have a website in which i had a plugin, login-with-ajax, through which the user was able to login and make registration to my website. I unistall this plugin. I also disabled the wordpress functionality for user login. Strangely users are still able to make registration to my website.
    Can you please help me about?

    In Settings>General in my admin page, i unchecked the “Membership: Anyone can register” option, but users are stiil able to make registration. Have a look at http://www.e-learning-education.gr

    This is what i try to tell you,
    Althouth i have disable the registration functionality of my site, “In Settings>General in my admin page, i unchecked the “Membership: Anyone can register” option”, users are able to make registration.

    How do i know that? a notification email is comming from wordpress told me that user x has been registered to my site.
