# How is correct create item's variations?

 * Hi WooCommerce have two different ways of how I may attach variations to the 
   item. Which is correct and which one in which situations I need use?
 * My aim:
 * 1) Easy 3-rd party as well csv file updates of items (with their variations).
   
   2) Easy to use via the REST-API in the Mobile Apps, and easy to working with 
   Cyrillic language of variations (right now have a little headache with it).

 * Both of those should work just fine, although (1) is probably a little bit easier
   from a user-experience perspective.

   XML or b) upload CSV file) and REST-API integration.

 * The first option is much easier to update/add variations in bulk, and multiple
   solutions already exist for doing this. The second one would require you to develop
   a custom app.
