If you visit https://wordpress.com/people under your connected WordPress.com account, you’ll find a “Download Data as CSV” button under the Email Followers tab.
I may not have expressed myself well. The website has a petitions form and a contacts form. I’m told that when a user enters their details, an email is sent to the site owner (that’s not me). I’ve been asked to change this behaviour to send a CSV file instead, but see no way to access this forms function.
Also, these details aren’t entered in the database, otherwise I could have written a simple program to extract the data.
If you’re using Jetpack’s Form Block for that, we have a “Export feedback as CSV” option at the bottom of the Dashboard’s Feedback section.
You choose which form’s feedback you want to export there.
Thanks. I presume Form Block is the standard way to capture details. I can see the feedback option. Nothing there, though, so how does this intercept the builtin function to send an email?
I’ve suggested the site owner get in touch with the Divi theme developer to get clarification as to why Form Block is not on offer.
You should be able to see the option here:

Thanks,
That link was helpful. I’ve been able to view all the Jetpack modules now, and Contact Form is enabled. The Form Block say “To edit an existing form, edit the post or page from WP Admin, then click “Add Contact Form.””. The problem I now have is that Divi is the page editor and offers no corresponding feature that I can find. Am I missing something?
Hi there,
I’m not familiar with how Divi works, but if it doesn’t allow you to insert standard WordPress blocks via the editor, you’ll need to ask them how to add a Jetpack contact form block using their editor.
As far as I know, Divi also include it’s own form builder, so if you’re using that page builder to create your site, it might be a simpler option to use their form instead.
Yes, Divi has its own form builder. I guess the answer lies with them. Thanks.
