how does wordpress work

  • I could not find this information on the wordpress site.
But I would like to know if word press is a desktop program or not.
Can I make blog entries off-line and then publish them? Or do I need to be on-line and connected to my on-line script in order to make an entry?
Is word pess like my own personal blogspot program?
    Thanks

  • Desktop – no.
Write entries offline, then publish them when you connect to your site ? Yes
    Read the requirements.

Thank you podz, for the quick reply; I can’t believe how speedy you are!
I just got up to get a glass of water and there was the answer when I came back.
    Thank you.

If you don’t want to be connected to the Internet while composing your blog entires, you can do what I do: write them in a word processor first then just copy and paste it when you’re done. 🙂
