How does this plugin relate to the Header Image?

    The plugin does not change header images. In some themes it seems so if the theme displays the featured image of a post in the header section like TwentyFourteen does.

    header images and featured images are two different items.

    I assume a plugin which let you set the header image for each post and page would help you. You can find some of them in the wordpress plugin repository with the search term “Custom Header image”.

    The plugin just helps you to set the images in bulk at existing posts and as standard for new posts. It depends on the theme where a featured image is displayed.
