# How does Subscriptions work?

 * Does the Subscriptions part of Jetpack use the WordPress feed to attain and distribute
   content?
    I have a Website with certain categories excluded from displaying in
   the feed. I want to exclude Posts from these same categories from being sent 
   to subscribers. Any help appreciated 🙂

 * Jetpack Subscriptions doesn’t use your site’s feed, so all posts will be sent
   to your subscribers.
 * If you don’t want a certain post to be sent, you would have to go to the Jetpack
   menu, and disable the Subscriptions module while you publish the post.
 * I took note of your feedback though, and we’ll consider adding more control over
   the subscriptions!

 * How do you “disable the Subscriptions module”? This option appears to be missing
   from the Jetpack page.
