    Hi,

I’m building a website using WC Vendors Marketplace and I’m wondering how is the shipping calculated. Does it have the ability to sense if there are products from multiple vendors in the cart and do the calculation per vendor or is it for the total of the cart like it is with just woocommerce?

For example, imagine I have flat rate shipping of 5€ and the cart has products from two different vendors, will it show that the shipping cost is 10€ on checkout or will it keep the 5€?

    Best regards,
    Diogo

    Hi Diogo,

Currently only free shipping or the Per Product shipping plugin is supported in our free product. Shipping zones are not supported. If you setup shipping zones, the shipping will always be calculated on the total order, not on the vendors products or locations.

If you want an advanced shipping system, you can upgrade to our pro product that has both a flat rate and table based shipping system for vendors, that is calculated per product and allocated correctly at check out and commission.

You can read about our shipping system here: https://docs.wcvendors.com/knowledge-base/wc-vendors-pro-shipping-system/

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    Hi Jamie,

Thank for the response! I read the article you sent about the pro shipping system and I still have some doubts.

Our intention is to have all vendors use the same courier service, so the cost will always be the same. We would like to have a more precise way to control the shipping cost calculation so that it could be as cheap as possible for the small orders but flat rate works fine.

Will we be able to set two flat rates (national and international) and have it be charged once per vendor in the order? That is, once the customer heads to checkout the system checks from how many different vendors the products in the cart are and charges the flat rate times that?

    Best regards,
    Diogo
