    hidemyage,

Styles are dependent on the browser’s internal logic for determining how selector combinations are rendered so other than the “swatch” there is no exact preview.

You can, however preview the child theme using the WordPress customizer:

Go to Parent/Child and click “Live Preview” on the child theme menu item or go to Appearance > Themes and click “Live Preview” below the child theme listing.

    hidemyage,

Apologies, I thought this a question about a different plugin.

The comment about using Live Preview still applies.

As for a dropdown, it is generally considered bad practice to use select menu inputs as navigation. Instead, style the unsorted list with CSS to behave as a dropdown menu. This allows greater flexibility and allows better use of accessibility features for both mobile and desktop.

Although the default WordPress category menu provides an option for “display as dropdown,” this plugin deliberately avoids that option.

    Thanks for your quick response!

Actually, I wanted to use is to replace my sidebar menu with a dropdown menu so it’s not so cluttered. Do you offer anything like that?

    See https://hidemyage.com .

    Thanks!
