[Resolved] How does jetpack influence google indexation

  • Having jetpack installed creates a blog feed on wordpress.com? Which is indexed by search engines? Does having jetpack installed and connected therefore have an impact on the speed that google finds a blog post or the prominence it receives or would a self hosted wordpress blog receive the same attention from google regardless (assuming it has been indexed).

If anyone has any researched advice on this or can point me to a suitable blog post or article which explains in detail that would be great. Thank you.

    Hi,

While there is a WordPress.com page created for any RSS feed or Jetpack site followed, it is only accessible to logged-in individuals. Search engines aren’t able to see nor index them so there is no negative impact to search results.

    Cheers!
