Support » Theme: Canard » How do you turn featured posts to featured pages using CSS?

My real site is a wordpress.org site. I am linking to a wordpress.com site as the wordpress.org site is not live yet. I made a rough copy of the homepage here.

I managed to create the front page with the five featured posts. That part was OK. But I need to put featured pages on my homepage (instead of posts), since I want to add forums to two of the pages. The other three pages are not blog posts but standalone pages.

Is there CSS I could use to turn the featured blog posts (5 of them) into featured pages (using maybe the “featured” tag) on the pages?

I love Canard theme by the way. It’s beautifully designed.

@beautifultiger Canard supports pages within its Featured Content area in addition to posts, so you should be able to add the same tag to the pages you want to feature. On a self-hosted site, you’ll need the Jetpack plugin to use Featured Content.

Thanks for your timely reply. I found a plugin that converts posts into pages and vice versa. It worked beautifully for me.
I didn’t think of your method 🙂 which is much simpler.
