How do you transfer from local host to server on Mac? (3 posts)

I hope someone out there will be kind enough to help me out here. What precious strands of hair I have left are quickly turning gray, due to the stress of wordpress on a bloddy mac.

I managed to download the thing and have it running locally on my mac. I even managed to import my old posts from my crappy iWeb blog.

So then I wanted to publish this to the net. Not easy on a mac. I changed the address/url or whatever it is to my website's name. I then got lost pissing around with php my admin and stuff.

So now, when I try to access my website on my local host, it's not there.

How do I get it back?

    Change it back to localhost.

To publish it, you need to install WordPress on your webhost and import the database there.

Sorry to be a complete and utter newbie here. But I'm not sure how that helps me change it back to local host.

Do I have to change/add anything in my wp-config file?
