How do you remove border on image? (4 posts)

    When I use the overlay image, I get a black boarder around my regular image. I wouldn't mind it except it doesn't center correctly on IE10. How can I remove that black boarder completely?

    Go to the div id in the page / in the css of the plugin and and add
    border:none;
    or border:0px;

    I am a WordPress newbie and a CSS newbie-- so what you write makes sense to me but I do not know exactly how to execute it yet. I'll try researching it.

    Hi Rrisen,

    To help you along you might find it helpful to read a bit about wordpress and css:

    Using an FTP program such as Filezilla (free) make a backup of your site's files.
    Use a TEXT editor (notepad++ also free) to edit your stylesheet.

    You can find your plugin at
    /wp-content/plugins/css3_text_and_image_overlay
    It contains '../css/overlay_style.css'

    Add the following code to the bottom of the file, save [and upload to the original position]

    *{
       border:none;
       border: 0px;
    }
