  • Just Change your Theme folder Pre to 777 u can do that by ur FTP Client .

I’ve done that to themes.php and theme-editor.php and I still get a message below the html editor saying “You need to make this file writable before you can save your changes. See the Codex for more information.”

    Any ideas?

You should change permissions to the Theme FOLDER (directory), not the themes.php file or theme-editor.php.
