• I setup the website, so I am the first admin. However that is only so I can login at any time and fix whatever is broken.

Obviously I don’t want my email address going out with the Newsletters.

This is the error we receive:
**You appear to be sending notifications from (my email address), which has a different domain name than your blog server domain.com. This may result in failed emails.**

That error message is the Dummy Light of plugins. Sure it tells you there is an issue, BUT HOW DO YOU FIX IT? Why put a message there without some kind of solution to the issue?

Where do I go in the Subscribe2 software to change the mail address so we can actually use the plugin?

Go to Subscribe2->Settings and then in the ‘Email Settings’ tab select a different users in the drop down where it says ‘Send Email From’.

But that uses the email address of an admin, how do we put in the email address we want to use for the email system?

We’re not going to use the personal email address of an admin – we need to add the Websites Email address.

So we created a fake user with a fake email address noreply@domain.com

And set up that user as the one the emails came from, but when we used a different browser and a none user real email address to signup for the newsletter we didn’t receive an email for the double opt in.

I toggled it myself, but when I created a new post didn’t receive a notification of a new post.

I suspect your hosting provider doesn’t like the fake email address – actually create a ‘no reply’ style email address on the server and use that.
