How Do you Change Font and Color for WordPress Pages Text?

  • Hello
    I have wordpres version 3.0.1. I was wondering how to change both the text size and font color on the text of my posts. I don’t see the toolbar that gives me this option. Do I have to insert a new plugin toolbar to change both the size and color of my text? Thank you.

  • This is usually done in the css file. If you post a link to your site, we can show you what needs to be altered.

    Ok great.

    Below is the link to my site

    any suggetions to how I can change the color and font size of my text on the Css File?

    Never edit existing styles just add changes at the end of the style.css file.

    This will only change the paragraph text, the rest will stay the same, press ctrl+F5 when you view the changes if you cannot see a change, this will reload the style.css.

    /* Start Custom Changes Remove to Reset */
    #main-content p {
       color: #888888;
       font-size: 1.2em;
    }
    /* End Custom Changes Remove to Reset */

    You could use a pixel height if you prefer

    /* Start Custom Changes Remove to Reset */
    #main-content p {
       color: #888888;
       font-size: 13px;
    }
    /* End Custom Changes Remove to Reset */

    It is a nice clean, easy on the eye, and well balanced theme, I would not change the font size or color myself!
