  • I recently installed lightbox 2 and haven’t been able to get it to go. Upon research, I found that the .js files are linked correctly. I tried typing the full path name in, but that didn’t seem to do it.

If I use bloginfo(‘stylesheet_url’); to grab a css file, then what do I use to grab a .js file in the plugins folder?

  • As far as using the bloginfo tag, you would use <?php bloginfo('url'); ?>/wp-content/plugins/.

But if typing the full path didn’t work, I’m not sure that would solve the issue.

What are you trying to do? Lightbox 2 normally works out of the box without any modifications.

    Thanks for the reply.
<?php bloginfo(‘url’); ?> was exactly what I was looking for.

I was never able to get Lightbox 2 to work. I was able to get nextgen gallery to work, but only with the stock theme. Every time I tried to apply it to my theme, it didn’t want to fly. Soooo…I’m going to spend a little time trying to understand what I did wrong (it’s a learn as you go process sometimes). Once I’m to the point where I can get nextgen to work, then I’ll go back and try Lightbox 2. Nextgen was easier with the nextgen gallery button, but I like the way Lightbox2 works.

    Thanks for the reply.
