    Ok, am i an idiot?
I am using word press for a local intranet site @ http://my-server-web/.
I installed the plugin. Set my options as needed and created the user profile pages. I left the Staffer URL slug at default setting.
All the other settings are their default values and no custom css.
According to the instructions all i need to do is add /staff after my page link (http://my-server-web/staff)and it will open the corresponding page that connects to all of my staff pages in grid view as per my setting? It only gives me a 404 error.
    What am i missing?

    Try re-saving your permalink settings.

    Thanks for the reply.
Just an FYI, I am using WP 4.0 and the theme is attitude.
Resaved the permalinks and still no luck.
They are set to the default http://IP Address/?p=
If I add staff after /?p=, it still doesn’t work.

You’ll need to enable pretty permalinks.

If they aren’t enabled, the main URL is as follows:

    /?post_type=staff

And for the individual staff profiles:

    /?staff=post-slug-name

There is an update coming this afternoon that makes the plugin play a little better when pretty permalinks are disabled.

    Thank you so much.
I added the /?post_type=staff to the end of the default permalink, http://my-server-web/?post_type=staff, and the staff page opened.
The only problem now is it will not open in grid view as per my Staffer options setting?
    Thoughts?
Sorry am a bit of a novice.

Version 1.3 takes care of that and makes the plugin fully compatible for users running default permalinks.
