Is your site still hosted with GoDaddy or is it with WordPress.COM? Or some other host? This is WordPress.ORG — which is not the same as .COM.

I use WordPress.org to publish my site, however it was originally through Godaddy

So where is your site HOSTED now? WordPress.ORG does not host sites.

The tl;dr is that every host has slightly different directions about MX records. You should check with the people who you pay every month 🙂

if the domain is still with godaddy, login to godaddy and update the mx records in the dns settings. once you do that, check that they are updated to the wordpress mx settings by going here and putting in your site name: http://www.unlocktheinbox.com/dnslookup/mx

if they don’t show up at first, give it 24 – 48 hours to be propagated (dns ttl settings may cause the delay).

once they settings are updated in dns, send another email and see if it arrives.
