• I give up.

I’ve spent hours deisgning events, they appear in the calendar, in the list of events and when clicked I see my event.

Sadly I can’t turn on registration.

I’ve told the event that 30 people can sign up – min of 1 and max of 10.
My PayPal address is in there.

I’ve said it is active and the event is in 30 days – folks can sign up until 3 days before the event.

So how in the world do I turn on registration????????

Have you read the documentation? See http://www.e-dynamics.be/bbpress/topic.php?id=2144 for a simple explanation.
For events, the ppossible placeholders can be found at http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?cat=25
In your case, check out the #_ADD_BOOKINGFORM placeholder.

    Nothing has been solved.

    You offer no solution.

How about some help instead of a flippant attitude???

Excuse me, but you seem the one being not polite at all.
You offer no explanation of what you tried, no indication that you read the doc, no setting info at all and then you accuse me of an attitude? Look at the posts above to read which one of us is showing an attitude here.
Please calm down and provide more info. If not, I can’t help you.

I read all the documentation – I’ve done everything correct – you have a bug in your plugin.

That’s what I am telling you.

Either that, or you want some money to buy a plug-in to make the registration part show up.

There is NO reason why it should not appear as a viewer sees the event.

I’m assuming that you are a typical programmer that is great a coding but horrible at support – as other posts point out.

Sadly I must abandon your plug-in, award you a 1-star for a plugin that doesn’t do what it says it does – and move on to one of 50+ plugins that do event registration. One of them will work and the author won’t insult me……………bye

I don’t ask for money for support. I even help people via a temp admin account on their site to solve configuration issues … for free!
If you look at the reviews and the official forum, you’ll see that others appreciate the effort I put in the plugin and the support. Just this weekend I coded for an additional 8 hours on the plugin, again just to help people along.
But every once in a while, somebody like you pops up: impatient and seemingly incapable of providing decent info for a bug report. So you just go and put the blame on the plugin owner, easy.
I wish you the best of luck in finding a plugin that works just the way you want it, written by a programmer that responds to your questions just the way you like it.

    Edit: after reading this: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/cant-find-the-installed-plugin-to-run-it?replies=7
    I understand now …

    lol, Franky…

I have to say, you are doing an exellent job with your plugin. Your plugin and support have been tremendous!

    Thank you!
