I install the free version of ithemes, go to setup, and when I get to

Site Type > eCommerce > Select your customers > Select the WordPress user roles they are assigned to

I keep getting an error message that says … “should be equal to one of the allowed values”.

What is this? What does it mean? How do I solve this?

At this point I am unable to select Next and move beyond this point. I get this issue on every site I work with.

Hoping someone can shed some light on this. Googling the issue doesn’t yield any usable info.

    Thanks

LOL. I had a feeling there would be no response to this. I’ve decided to remove iThemes Security from the 500+ WP sites we manage and install a functional competitor. Problem not solved but solved by getting rid of your plugin 😉

Hi @biztechq, I’m sorry to hear about the issue on your site. Please note that we can only reply on weekdays.

A conflict usually causes this error, so I recommend deactivating third-party plugins except for iTSec and switching to a default WordPress. If the issue resolves, re-activate the plugins one at a time to isolate the cause of the problem.
