How do I get the blog posts to show full text? I went to the Settings -> Reading section and set the blog posts to “Full Text” but that did not work.

I am having the same problem, I want to show the full post instead of only an excerpt. This is my page:

http://traveltotaipei.com/blog/

I tried to change in in ‘Appearance > Reading” but that did not work.
I also found some tutorials on youtube but they seem outdated.
