Hi

How do I show the name of the BuddyPress group that an event is created for?
I can see the group events under the event tab in the specific group, but I would like to show the group name in the mail calendar as well. Is it possible to insert some kind of shortcode in the text?

just to confirm, can I know what do you mean by “mail calendar” ? did you mean using ical or .ics ?

I’m sorry. It’s a typo. I meant “Main calendar” 🙂

Or actually, I would both like to show the Group name in the popup box when I hover over the event n the calendar AND on the specific event page where I show all the details.

Does it make sense?

In the em_events table, I can see a column “group_id”, so if I could just output this id, I can use it to show the Group name.
