Installing an image upload plugin requires me to do this step: "Give write-permission to everyone (chmod 777)." I have no idea how to set this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

click on the file and fill in the squares in the change permission menu on that file until they are what you need. i think that may be all of the squares filled in for all permissions.

You can do this through either your ftp client or your host file manager.

Ahhh, now I see it. My host has a cpanel. I clicked on the file manager, then saw the box you were referring to, and set the numbers to 777. Thanks for the help.
