  • Resolved somanyqs

I’ve been modifying the Whitespace theme as I learn how to use WP.
The current item I am trying to figure out is how to set a background for each portion of the page. So the overall background I would like to be grey, but the content areas I would like to be white (the l_sidebar, r_sidebar, main center content area). Right now it inherits the body background so it looks Piet Mondrainish – ack! I have put a background color in each section of the code, but it only makes the background white for minimum amount of area then inherits the grey. Hopefully that makes sense…

The site I am playing with is
    Any thoughts would be great…
    Thanks much!
