How do I search only the "alphabeta" forum?

Ok, I know I’ll probably get shunned for posting this, but how the heck do I search only the threads in the alphabet forum?

When I try searching using the search box at the top of the page it searches the entire support forum.

I’m looking to find issues relating to the new “Media” features because I do not want to post duplicate threads and manually searching threw the 30+ pages is not feasible.

Also how could I filter out “resolved” issues?

Short answer. You can’t. And you can’t. 🙁

Yes – we know the forum search sucks but there isn’t a great deal we can do about it at the moment. Searching via Google might be more productive in this situation.

That sucks, but thanks for the feed back.

The Google search option works pretty well and is easy:

If you type the following into a Google search box, you get a pretty fair result.

    “Media” site:http://wordpress.org/support/forum/alphabeta
