    Hello
Great plugin. Thank you for all your work on this.
    I have two questions:
I don’t see the preview changes button when I create a new template?
How can I create an email and save it as a template to use?
    Please advise.
    Be safe and thank you.

    Hi
sorry, I forgot to mention, I also can’t see categories to add a category to the email I create.
How do I use the variables like the post tags, user tag?
How do I tell it which post?? or Post type?
Provided there is a way to identify which post ID, I hope I can use these tags to add fields of a post type?

    Hi Sophie,

Unfortunately, there isn’t a “preview changes” button. There is only a save button, and, once you click on that, the email template is saved for you to use again later. Any preview displayed in a web browser would not fully/accurately represent how you would see it in a email client. I would suggest that you send a test email to confirm that it looks how you want.

When editing a section of your email, you can click the “Email Variables” button to see all the available variables/tags. The following screenshot shows what I mean:

    Hello
    Thank you for quick reply.
I saw that but when I choose post type I get the following [post-type] and I was wondering how I can use it.
I choose it, hoping it would open more options but didn’t see any. Let’s say I have a post type: consult, how do I get the fields of that post type using the above tag?
I guess I am looking for the formatting to use these tags to retrieve specific data from a specific post??
    Regards

Oh, there’s no way to do that. The post type variable lets you dynamically display the post type of the current post.
