How do i revert back to 3.1?

  • I need to revert back to 3.1. Since i updated to 3.2.1 I can’t edit my widgets or add widgets. I can’t add images to post. I haven’t been able to find any solutions. When I disable all plugins I get a function error in header php. Need to get my site back.
    Thanks

    What is this error?

    Hello,
    When I disable all plugins i get this error:
    Call to undefined function bp_page_title()
    Also, my home page title uses the title from the latest blog post

    Try switching to the Twenty Eleven theme.

    When I switch to twenty eleven I can use my widgets and deactivate all of them without receiving the bp_page_title error. Is the theme I am using no longer usable?

    Doesn’t look like the theme is compatible with 3.2.1. I tried the unedited theme and the same problems exist. Is it possible to revert to an earlier version of Wp until the problems with the theme are fixed?

    Do you have a pre-upgrade database backup? No backup – no rollback option.

    yes i did back-up the DB and the site.

    Then you need to:

    1. Re-upload all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress 3.1.

    2. Restore your database backup

    Sorry I am not clear as to what I should do here?
    Do i install 3.1 and then upload all files except wp-content and then restore my DB?
    thanks

    You do not run the install. Just upload all files except wp-content and then restore your DB.
