I want to be able to swap my wordpress page domain.com/peanuts to a regular non wp blank white page with text, anytime I want, and yet leave the rest of the site as a normal working wp site.

    How do I do that?

Somebody answered and said–> “Just exclude that page from the rewrite rules on your .htaccess”, but I don’t know the steps to do that. Can someone explain in detail the code to add to htaccess and rewrite etc.

I need this done so badly.

    You don’t even need that.

The .htaccess rewrite rules only kick in when the page isn’t found in the file structure, so if you have a page at /peanuts/ then it will show, and if not the server will fall back to the WordPress sytem.

Just as a note, to neep it as /peanuts/ you might need to add a folder with an index.php file inside it.
