Hi I am using WP 3.1 with the standard theme.

Underneath the comments box, the one where the user fills in his comments before sending it, there is some text

    You may use these HTML tags and attributes: <a href="" title=""> <abbr title=""> <acronym title=""> <b>
    <blockquote cite=""> <cite> <code><del datetime=&quot;&quot;> <em> <i> <q cite=&quot;&quot;> <strike> <strong></strong></em></code>

How do I remove that text from the the page.

I tried what I thought was right in the comments.php by using the editor but nothing happened.

I hope this makes sense and look forward to some expert assistance, as always. 🙂

    Many Thanks

I did try the search but couldnt find anything – it helps if you know what to search for

Many Thanks for finding it for me 🙂

I too have followed the directions of editing the comment.php file but without any difference. My main problem now is that whenever I share a link to my site on Facebook, the description of the link is:

    You may use these HTML tags and attributes: <a href="" title=""> <abbr title=""> <acronym title=""> <b>
    <blockquote cite=""> <cite> <code><del datetime=""> <em> <i> <q cite=""> <strike> <strong></strong></em></code>

I first searched the forums and found this thread. This is where I followed the directions but that hasn’t changed my Facebook problem.
Any ideas what I’m doing wrong or what else I might need to do?

    Thank you!
