How do I remove boxes

    How do I remove the ‘search box’ and ‘recent post’ box from the main column. Currently it is situated above my static page and duplicated on my site. I would like those items to only be in the side bar and not on the main column.

    Thanks for using Ignite!

    Those widgets are currently in the “Before Main Content” widget area. To remove them, visit the Widgets page (Appearance > Widgets) and locate the Before Main Content widget area. There, you can select each widget and drag it out or click the remove button.
